Established under one roof, we are six separate companies consisting of The Actor’s Annex, Jim Richer Photography, I.O.U. Prints, Hollywood Talent Connection, YoDawg! The Actor’s Annex is home to the best youth and adult classes and workshops offered in Hollywood. We attract top industry professionals, such as casting directors and acting coaches who are passionate about acting and happily prepared to teach informative classes during nights and weekends. The special advantage of attending a class at The Actor’s Annex is the opportunity to practice and perform on our 15 outdoor photography sets- something you will not find anywhere else. Each set is created to evoke a different mood and feel, which is perfect for various scenes and scripts studied by our students. Some of the exciting acting techniques you can expect to learn are set terminology, blocking for camera, stage combat and improv to name a few. With its 15 amazing outdoor sets, Jim Richer Photography offers an exclusive and special photo shoot experience allowing you, the model or actor, to create the best headshots and print photos to enhance your career. By offering a diverse range of sets and backgrounds, we can inspire our clients to achieve their ultimate mood, look, and vision. Ensuring you achieve ultimate creativity, a one on one consultation will be set up with your photographer so that you can discuss clothing styles, make-up, and hairstyles before the shoot. Hair stylists and make-up artists are provided at a reasonable cost.
After your photo session, your photos are sent to I.O.U. Prints, Thexposure Studio’s own in-house photo printing company where you can order your zed cards, headshot duplications, business cards, retouching, post cards, portfolios and other services (see I.O.U. Prints page for details). For many aspiring actors and models, Hollywood seems a world away. Just because you may not live in the Los Angeles area doesn’t mean you can’t take advantage of our amazing resources. Hollywood Talent Connection is a traveling workshop company designed to come to you, wherever that may be in the country. If there is a casting director or acting coach from one of your favorite television shows you are dying to work with, we encourage you to contact us to create your own personal workshop to suit your needs.
